I'm doing the reports today and the bite has been confirmed. Good reports are once again coming in from Red. Just talked to a guy who fished for a couple hours yesterday and caught about 30 fish. All fish were 16 - 18 inches. I also heard a few reports of people catching crappie. Despite the heat it turns back on....thats good news.

Hearing good reports again this week. It seems the walleyes are hungry and the N. Pike are biting as well. Rumors of some pretty big fish from this last weekend.

Anyone else been fishing up there that can confirm the good reports??

Yes the fishing has picked up considerbly. The pike finally got hungry and people targeting them have had good success. I have had no fishermen for some time. Most people that have fished the lake in the past have had no problem finding active walleyes. I still like morning and evning for the better bite. We did go out last weekend on sunday morning and got 4 keepers in less then 2 hours. With the strong winds on sunday I expect yesterday may not of been as good though?
