The big fish are turning on!  We have been seeing big Walleye in the 28 inch and bigger range each day.  The huge Perch are around and there are some monster Northerns.

The houses are still spread across 20 miles, ranging from 20-35 feet of water. We have been having mixed luck in different areas, the reef areas are producing more fish right now but there have been some nice quality fish in closer.  The vexilars are definitely a benefit at this time of year.

We are expecting the closer fishing to start getting better as the season goes on.  Big Northerns have been active, here is a picture of a 44 incher kept the other day.

Don’t put the equipment away we still have another month to go.  Right now the conditions look great to get us through the rest of the month.

Those are some nice fish great report. I was just out there wed-sun and it was pretty slow and no monsters I was disappointed to say the least. We fished out out Zipple bay.
