I totally believe in the need for the N.R.A. but I have not been a member for a while. I cannot stand that they send mailings asking for more all the time. The amount of mail that I recieve from them far exceeds the the cost of a membership in the postage that they spend. I requested on my last renewel that they just accept my membership dollar and not use it for soliciting me back but they could not do that. When that happens I will support them again.

THE N.R.A IS WORKING FOR YOU AND YOUR RIGHTS A LITTLE MAIL IS WORTH OUR 2ND AMENDMENT. IF HE GETS WHAT HE WANTS THERE WILL BE NO GUNS ALLOWED IN THE USA

I tend to agree with kenhunting, If we want to rejoin we can find them, they don't have to send us mail every week to remind us. Take that money wasted on postage and use it for some good. If they want to remind me once or twice a year fine but not over and over and over.
