I have the fuji guides on some of my scheels rods. they are the guide series and one piece. The sensitivity in the one piece rods are amazing! try some florocarbon line and you will never buy mono again!

fuji............. pacfic bay.............alps.........berkley........and all the tackle shop knock offs...

....if this is by chance your first attempt at a custom rod.......and your just runnin mono........not alot of braided......berkleys are fine.....

short spinning rod or nine ft noodle rod.......your setting up a casting rod i'm "assuming"......the larger the better on your first rod........if ultra light .......have a friendly guide low......then taper em off quick....flare the end tip with heavier casting spoons.......you can tweak em with pliers once you get the release point you like.......based on lure and rod weight of course......best of luck tw.....
