After doing the estimate on my boat I decided to hit the lake for a hour or so. Before I went I picked up some Berkley craw trailers and I thought I would give pitching and flipping A try . After boating a few small fish on a worm I started throwing my jig. Dock after dock after dock with no luck. It was kinda wierd out there because I was really zoned into what I was doing and how I thought the lure was reacting and what I thought I had to do to get a fish to bite my lure. I watched a few videos about pitching and flipping on youtube and just kept thinking about what they were doing and what they said . Finally one of the last docks I fished I got a bite ! She bit on the transition of the bait rising to the bait falling . When I set the hook she came jumping out of the water and It was like magic how my net just happened to be laying there uncovered my by heavy tackle box . (usually barried under stuff) She was the fattest fish I have ever caught from this lake and she was in perfect condition .

Short but plump!
