The daytime walleye bite this week continues to give anglers plenty of action with water temps reaching 72o.   Look to the mid lake structure, the famous Mille Lacs Mud Flats, using live bait rigs with leeches or crawlers.  Work the top edges o the Flats keeping your eyes on the electronics for fish and bugs.  Use the wind to your advantage to work the structure maintaining your speed to .5 mph kicking the boat in and out with your electric motor.

Tip of the Week:  Do not drag your weight through the mud as it creates a cloud and you will not get bit.

Good Luck and we'll see you on the water!
