For the first time since 1990 the Braves will not win the National League East.  That is a pretty amazing stretch when you think about it.  They don't have a small payroll, but don't spend a lot of money like the Yankees do.  We beat them in the 1991 world series then went through a lot of bad years while they kept on winning.  It would be nice if we could go on a run like that with all of the young talent the Twins have right now.

When that run started, the Braves had good, young, starting pitching.  They also had a few good position players.  I think the Twins have some of that right now too.
