All bets are on the full moon for the daytime walleye bite to turn the corner with the cold nights and decrease in the water temperatures this week.  The current water temperature is at 66o.  The stage is set to pull crank baits for you die hard walleye anglers in the dark of night.  Your best bet to start with would be to pull shad baits and maybe give the stick baits a chance as the moon rises on the eastside rocks.  My daytime plan is to target the shallow rocks with leeches and corks.  I will also rig with live bait.  The anglers mind set this time of year needs to shift to more like early season conditions.  Hey fishheads don’t forget to wear your life vest for warmth and safety this time of year.  Drop me a line if you have a report.

Good luck, be safe and we'll see you on the water!
