Who uses a GPS for hunting? I recently purchased a Garmin Colorado 400t and I really like it. It seems to be a great scouting tool.

What does everyone use for mapping software?

I use a basic Cobra GPS cost me about $75  4 years ago. If or when I get access to land I get a map from the counties, this will show you the property lines. Then I compare known points to Google earth. This will give you the coordinates of the land so you do not get lost or more importantly cross over to the neighboring land and trespass
Are you a hunter or do you just kill things? Respect the wildlife!

I use a Lowrance I Finder when I go out hunting or fishing. I only have the lake chip in it but for where I hunt it gives me county roads, lines, and whatever I need. I also have walked my "area" and I have also walked most of the trails . Then after I have put out cameras I can try to pattern the deer and where they might be and when they might be there.
