Joe Mauer wins AL batting title!

First catcher to win the batting title in the American League.  Way to go Joe!  He was 2-4 today and finished with a .347 batting average.

That is good for him, but I don't like the way he is turning into our Derek Jeter with the announcers.  The baby jesus can do nothing wrong in their eyes and everything he does is spectacular.  I guess it has always kind of been that way so this is really nothing new.

he's baseballs batting champion for 2006...jeez, give them a break, who are they supposed to interview?

I don't care if they interview him they interview everyone.  Just listen to how the announcers talk about him during the game.
