Hi My wife and I just purchased a new camper too put on Black duck lake. Is there any fellow fisherman out there who fish this lake? Ive been told its a great fishing lake. What kind of luck have you had for walleyes, perch, sunfish and crappies?  Thanks joe

I used to get a weekly fishing report from that area and it sounded like there was always something going on up there. Don't know specifics but its a great lake with a ton of great small lakes around the area.

Where are you parking the camper? Personal land or is there a resort that does that on the lake?

I was up there a few weeks ago on the way home from Upper Red. I decided to stop and try to search for those nice Blackduck perch. The lake was pretty dead only saw 8 or so houses not sure why, but it may have been a slow winter out there. But yeah there are some nice fish in there.

Some good fishing right in front of Tomahawk! The whole lake has been very good for walleyes and perch the last few summers, especially in the spring and again in the fall. Lots of big fish to be had, with some decent eaters as well. Panfish can be tough to find, but they're giants when located. I'd spend as much time this spring up here as possible, as it's your best shot at some unreal fishing and a good mixed bag. For tactics, 1/4 oz. jigs with small spot-tail shiners pitched up breaklines and jigged back works well, and can produce slabs, perch, pike, sheepshead, and 'eyes in the same areas a lot of times.

Good luck, you won't be disappointed w/ BD!
