We currently have wild rice in front of the duck blind.  Would it hurt if we added Millet into the mix?  Pros and Cons?

That is a good question.  I would assume that since you have wild rice in front of your blind, that it is at least 12 to 36 inches of water depth since that is what is required for wild rice.

If that is the case, then millet will not grow there due to the standing water.  Millet is still an "upland" plant and not an aquatic plant.

You could plant millet alont mudflats and edges, but not in standing water.

You could add Sago Pondweed to areas that have 12 to 36 inches of water depth however.  Sago does coexist with wild rice.

Thank you again for the question.

Thanks for clarifying.  I must have read the article I found on Millet incorrectly.

And upon further review, I did read it wrong.
