Leech Lake Opener Report 5/16/10

Fishing was slow yesterday for every person I talked to  here @ the resort
My boat manage a 26" walleye caught by my wife &  we also kept 2. The weather
up here is perfect, I personaly don't remember fishing up here in a tee shirt at all on a opener
We are going after breakfast & maybe go target some crappie's here is a pic of a
beautyfull sunset last night

Im heading for breakfast in a few minutes at the Outdoorsman with wife and daughter... it was a nice sunset here is my daughters pic and a pic of her with a walleye from leech yesterday...toooo nice a day!

My daughter & myself went out this evening & manage 3 more for the box

We got a limit early Saturday morning but it slowed down when the wind died down.  Quite a few boats out there, needed to get away a bit to get fish.  Beautiful weather though.
