How many of you consider shooting an old doe as a trophy.  We have 2 very old does that we get pictures of regularly.  The one is almost strictly nocturnal all year long.  In the last 3 years we have never seen her during daylight and have only gotten a few pics of her during the light of day.  The one with the scar behind her shoulders is at least 7 years old.  These old girls are some of the smartest deer we have.  I consider them trophies and would shoot them given the chance.

Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

I don't consider them trophies but I would sure shoot them if given the chance.  Nice Pics :happy1:

Every deer I shoot is a trophy...may not always be the biggest/oldest but there is always a good story to go along with it.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away

All deer are trophies in my book. Them older does are as wise as an old buck probably wiser during the rut which is usually right around the gun season.

I would rather leave the old does.. I love how the old does start getting that long donkey nose

I too would rather shoot a smaller/younger doe than an old lady.  Leave the older ones for breeding stock.  Besides, the smaller ones are easier to drag.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.
