The public access on O’Dowd Lake in northern Scott County will be closed for about six weeks to allow for reconstruction, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

The project will include a new boat ramp, new parking lot with some single car parking, stormwater retention features and some landscaping.

The closure is expected to begin on or about July 6 and continue through Aug. 15. More specific details will be posted at www.mndnr.gov.
