If money wasn't an issue.  What state would you prefer to own your own deer mecca, and why.  You are limited to 200 acres, so choose wisely.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

Got land for deer already up by Two Harbors... Never hunt it...

Now for ducks, I know this isn't the topic, but somewhere up in Canada, or down in the flooded timbers of Arkansas or Louisiana. More ducks, and more of a challenge to hunt/find one's that aren't decoy shy.

Well,200 acres is a little small for the badlands of ND, but about right size for deer hunting in the Missouri river bottoms.......would need to be all woods with irrigated corn all around it.... ;D :happy1:

That's an easy one, Buffalo County in Wis for deer.

There are more B&C and P&Y deer harvested per square mile than any where else in the nation.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

I'd buy 200 acres just north or east of the cities. Maybe up by Taylors Falls. Love that area!

Decatur County Iowa. 200 inch genetics and large tracts of QDM land are all over making 200 acres as good as 2000.  Buffalo County beats it for cover, but can't match the 200 inch genetics and amazing drop tine potential.

Cody.... Alberta isnt a state, but if it was, Id pick that for my choice also..... I guess Id say MN since I live here,  Id either want my 200 acres either in section 346 in SE MN, or 245 in north central MN where we hunt.... more total deer and more bucks taken in those two zones going back years and years.... be interesting to see how that'll change where we go, with the booming wolf population the next few years. :reporter;

If it wasn't so far, 200 acres on the Milk river in Montana would be nice.  But then I wouldn't be able to get there very often so my second choice would be to add 200 acres to what I currently have in central Minnesota.  :whistling:

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away
