Since I run a guide service business I've posted a gift certificate page on my web-site geared toward Christmas. I'm trying to target the spouses and girl friends of my current and potential clients.

I plan to also do a pre-holiday mailing this year and wanted your opinions. Should I include poem #1...#2...or both on my mailings. Any feed back would be appreciated (I already know the poems are corny).

Please take a moment out from your busy schedules to give me some feedback. I'm interested in any and all opinions. Here are the poems that I've got to choose from: http://leeslakegenevaguideservice.com/christmaspromo.htm

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

Hi Lee
I personally much prefer poem number 2. The gift certificate is a brilliant idea. Good luck.

Are you a hunter or do you just kill things? Respect the wildlife!

Thanks for the feedback so far folks. I'm always trying to figure a new angle to promote business without spending to much dough.

Of all the different things I've tried over the years, it seems that word of mouth has paid off the best.

Last year I had 67 percent repeat business for the year. This year I picked up a bunch of new clients so next season should be good between the new and old clients.

Any fresh ideas out there would be much welcomed. ;D

If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

How about donate a 4 hour trip to a charity foundation.  I have done this a few times for my tax business and the same people come back year after year plus they refer me.

Scott,

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've done that in the past. In my case all I got out of it was more requests for trip donations. As far as income tax deductions I never have a shortage of receipts from my business investments.

Thanks again.
