The day time walleye bite was tough towards the end of last week.  The water temp was at 56 degrees.  My clients pulled lead core in 26 feet of water with crank baits to put walleyes in the boat.  The night bite was hit or miss around the lake with an over 28” walleye caught around Doe Island.   Saturday evening provided a beautiful sunset as I watched the sun go down from my perch on shore with a :toast: in my hand.
The Isle Bay perch bite is coming soon.

Good luck, be safe and we'll see you on the water!

Hey Bob, I missed you on 10-09 and 10-10 but the eyes are bitting from all the boats out there on the reef and comming in with fish.

I bet there were a dozen boats out there Saturday afternoon and at night. I seen people coming in to launch at 9:30 to head out so I think the night bit is on as well.

Was up for the weekend to grouse hunt so we left the boat home, wish I would have brought it up to get in on the bit at night ;D
