How many guys made it out this weekend for opener ??  I made it out sat for a few hours and bag one rooster.  Not to bad for a couple hours of hunting.  I saw quite a few other birds.  6 - 8 hens and a saw 3 other roosters but they were smart and lived to see another day.

I was out both days.  We shot 6 Saturday for 3 of us and 4 today for 2 of us.  I can't wait for the corn to get out.  Then some real hunting will begin. :happy1:

I was out this afternoon, I hunted Turkeys and Deer on Friday night, Saturday and this morning, but got out in the field this afternoon.  Saw 4 birds, 1 rooster and 3 hens - the rooster got he best of us, flew up a little far in front of us.
Did kick up alot of turkeys - but I couldnt shoot at 'em.

It was a perfect day though, nice tempertare, no sun, not alot of wind.  CANT COMPLAIN, and we saw some birds.
I hope to get out again next weekend, maybe work a little harder, try a few different spots.

ive only hunted one time and that was in SD on private land with 3 dogs. i feel like i was so spoiled there that i dont want to try in mn and be dissapointed. but this weekend im going to a family farm in nodak and may get to hunt in the future there if i find some birds. not sure how well the hunting is near minot but thats where i will be going. might just find a good waterfowl spot anyways.
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!
