The weather has made fishing really challenging, but it looks like the worst of it is behind us.  We had 3+ inches of rain 2 days in a row and then some other days where it didnt rain as hard.  I was up on Lake Franklin 2 weeks ago and had some nice luck with the sunnies, mostly in the 8" range and also caught a crappie that was just over 10".  The walleye bite has slowed down, the weeds have overrun the normal hot spots, but we decided to try the north side of the island, in about 25' of water.  We ended up catching 2 eyes, a few perch, sunnies and snakes before it started to rain again.  A few guys in the family stayed up longer and caught some more eyes around the same spot and in other places in 18-25 fow.  If you can get just on the weed line in about 15fow the walleyes have been biting towards dusk, but fighting the weeds is the tough part - slip bobbering off the weed line is probably your best bet.
Lida had also been producing walleyes in the morning it seems a little better than in the evening, off the humps as always in the 20-25 fow has been the ticket.
The fishing has definitely slowed, but they are still biting if you can find them and care to battle the weeds.
GOOD LUCK ON THE WATER!
