Ice is beginning to form on a few Ely area lakes, BUT THEY ARE NOT SAFE, as there is no consistancy in ice thickness.
Some have snow on them, making walking even more treacherous.
There is snow predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday, with temps dropping below zero later in the week, which should help set up any lakes that don't have snow covering.

As far as the Cisco situation, it still doesn't look very good, but we will have some for sale starting December 5th that have been treated with a borax/salt mixture.  It takes 14 days of being in the mixture before they can be sold, and we are still testing ways to re-hydrate them.
I do not think they will be as good as frozen Ciscos, but it is all we can do until they can change some regulations next fall.(hopefully) :woot:
REMEMBER:STAY OFF THE LAKES UNTIL COLDER WEATHER SETS IN!!!  BE SAFE!!!!! :happy1:
