trout opener (pics)
Went out this morning me and my 2 neighbors and we ended up bring home 8 trout for the 3 of us.  Fishing was the best from 6:50 to 8:00 this morning.

That's awesome!  I'd like to go ice fishing for lake trout sometime.  My buddy has a cabin on Burntside and i was going to try it a couple of years ago, but it was too damn cold and we had no pop up and a hand auger with dull blades. :banghead:  Put that on top of the fact that no one up there had a clue what we were doing and no Vexilar to make up for our lack of knowledge...it was a disaster before it even started.

We had to walk out there is no vechiles or wheelers allowed on this lake.  There was no slush and maybe 4 inches of snow on it.
