13,000$ Deer

  Here is a buck that a hunter got in Wisconsin .  He sent these pictures to a bunch of people to see what he could get and the owner of Cabela's paid him $13,000 for the head and hide.  A calico buck, like the one below, is rarer then an albino.

i had got this in a email awhile back would have taken alot more than $13,000 for me to let it go by that's thought maybe he needed the cash really bad

He actually did not sell the buck to Cabela's. He is keeping it for a full body mount and it will stay in the family. It was shot around Palestine, TX, on a private ranch, not in Wisconsin or so Snopes.com says.  Regardless, AWESOME looking deer!

For 13k and to have it on display for all to see with a taken by plaque I would travel to cabelas if I needed to look at it.

Seems like a small check for such a unique deer.     I'm surprised he wasn't offered more.
