A bunch of my family members are heading to URL this weekend.  My grandma turns 75 Dec. 31st.  She wanted to spend her b-day at red.  So, they are doing a little ice fishing, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.  I really wanted to get up there for the big event.

We did too much traveling the past week, so the wife wants to relax at home.  I am sure New Years on Red will be a blast!

We'll let you know about the fishing when we get there.  Hope this rain doesn't keep up all night.  The roads may be too icey to drive up in the morning. Have a Happy New Year!

I don't know the temp up there but here it's 39 degrees. Thats not bound to make things too icy.

Hey there O_J.  We are at home.  The rain turned to sleet and then snow.  We have about 3 inches and it's still coming down!  Decided not to drive all that way for one day only in this weather. But reports are good re: walleyes!  They had a fish fry last night and planned to go out again today.  Best fishing was at dust and just after.  We'll keep you posted.

Still not a flurry here, just rain last night. The sun even poked out a little this aft.
