This past weekend on N. Long produced high highs and low lows.

Saturday night we ventured out pretty late, around 10PM.  We set up on the north end of the lake in about 20 FOW using leaches and a plain hook under a slip float.  We focused on a steep shore break.  We got quite a few bites over the next hour.  We had several misses and landed five nice eaters.   It seemed like we would limit out no problem.  Then, at about 11:00PM, it shut down.  Nothing for the next hour and a half.  Not a bite.

Sunday night.  We proceeded back to the same spot to start out.  We graphed a ton of fish so we anchored.  This time we got there much earlier thinking that we had missed a good portion of the hot time on Saturday.  The wind was out of the west at about 5MPH and the weather had been stable all day.  Well, it was no use.  Using the same leaches and lit bobber we ended up with zilch.  Not even a bite.  We tried 2 other spots and nothing.  Hopefully things will look up at the end of September into October.  Anyone else fish the area having any luck?
