ATI lure test @ Beebe Lake in Wright Cty

Well, we finally made it out for the second time this year yesterday @ Beebe Lake. It's located SW of St. Micheal.  We used an assortment of jigs made by ATI and DDSBYDAY and they were hitting like crazy.  My son used a shad dart and couldn't keep his line the in water for the first 30 min.  Fish after fish on the shad dart tipped with a red euro waxie.  I used a pink and white ATI jig and then switched to a back and white.  My boy caught almost 2 limits of sunnies, my buddy caught almost a limit and I had just a few.  Too much fun watching the boy fish and the smiles on his face.

Its always nice to see kids catchin' a pile of fish.

When I get my tax money wrestled back from uncle sam, I will have to order some of those shad darts from ya DDS.

We were out Sunday on a central MN lake, they hit a little in the morning, but really slowed down by noon.

       Looks like a great day on the ice.  Thanks for the report.  Next winter I hope we can get some video clips of the young ones crossing eyes.      (I hope to have the  HD vid camera figured out by then  ).

Nice to see you made it out. Sorry I had your flasher up north. I as well caught a bunch and was using a white glow eye drop from ATI (crappies and sunnies).

We might try to sneak out Sunday night back to Beebe for late afternoon sunnies and try the walleye hole at dark.

I gotta check with Steuter to see if he can go.  He has our new fish house stashed in his garage.  I need a truck to bring it so I may steal his.  I'll know more by the end of the week.
