Black Hills Fishing
Went out to Deerfield Lake today.  Caught 3 nice rainbows.  Ice is about 30 inches but its going to go fast with the weather.

I was headed that way until I stopped in at The Rooster for bait.  We went to Stockade and caught a couple perch before we had to leave because my youngest stepped in a hole and was soaked up to her waist

I went over to mirror lake #2 over the weekend, and I could see the fish but they just weren't biting.

I wanted to go to the Boy Scout camp.  Really some big trout in that pond but I ended up going around thru Rochford and stopped and talked to the locals.  Threw a couple casts in Rapid Creek but nothing.  My eyes are burning bad got waxworm guts in my eyes and I'm allergic as all get out to them.  Gotta stop wiping my eyes with my hands before I wash them.

trout biting like crazy up in the hills if you know where to go...but be real careful.  I heard a couple atvs went thru on Sheridan and Pactola
