Why don't you men get your wives and daughters signed up for the fishing challenge? I'm sure some of them fish with you at times. They could have some fun entering their fish and being a member of a team. I bet you would be pulling for them to do well to. I know Lee always high fives me when I catch one for my team.

I would love to see you guys respond back here. What do you think? Will you give it a try or is this just a man site? :whistling:

Waiting for your answers,

Borgie :queen:

My wife is good for about 5 minutes - then she pulls out a book. Then she starts telling me what to do. It never works.

In the early years of my marriage my wife would go out fishing and hunting with me. Her first deer hunting adventure found her smoking after five minutes in the stand and ten minutes later she was tired of waiting for the deer to show up. Fishing was better and she lasted a few years doing that. But.... After knocking one my fishing partners out of the boat with a rod tip to the face when setting the hook we thought maybe boat fishing was not quite for her. Might also have had something to do with a boat filling up with water while she was in it. Or maybe the going down the rapids backwards in a Jon boat with a little water coming in over the sides.

She now is happy staying at home when I fish and she tells me she looks forward to having me out of the house. Now that my sons own their own boats she gets together with her daughter in law and spents girl time. But, my daughter does fish with me and has fished in the challege.

My wife wants nothing to do with fishing.  My 3 1/2 year old girl would rather play with her Barbies for now.  Sorry Borgie.

My wife will fish with me only during soft water. In fact I can't get away without hearing her say, what about me? She baits, takes fish off the hook, cleans and cooks them. AWESOME!! My two little girls are both fishing both seasons too. Proud.

In an effort to support Borgie's efforts to get more women to sign up for the fishing challenge I'm trying. Last week I went to Cabela's trying to enroll lady shoppers figuring this would be a place to start. A few that were interested sent me fishing photos and may sign up. :happy1:

I have no wife or daughters so I guess I'm in the clear.  I have two sons in their early twenties.  They seem a bit more interested in chasing peoples daughters at this stage in their lives. Seems to me I took a few years off about their age too.  They will soon learn you can fish and chase women without giving up one or the other. ;)
