Last Weekend on The Ice

Well last Thursday myself and some friends headed uo to LOTW.Fishing on Friday was good My buddy Bryan caught 4 eyes from over 25 to 26 inches.We caught alot of saugers 4 white fish and a pout.Saturday we headed out to the same spot and to my supprise all our holes were still open the saugers bit right away then the fish shut off after over an hour with no fish bam the walleyes went crazy.My biggest eye was 21 inches..The lake had a good 2 to 3 feet of ice with lots of slush spots.We did drive small suvs on the ice but im pretty sure that the access is done..I did talk to several guys fishing the river and they had no luck All the locals I talked to said the river was to dirty for walleyes but I heard the sturgen fishing was pretty good....Its sad that icefishing for me is done but what a way to end the season...I will post some pics soon
