where ewould you guys go for some good eating size fish. Not looking for a trophy. I have 2 kids with me so I have to make sure they are entertained also. Will be fishing from a boat.  Any tips on depth to fish, bait to use, ect. I have never done this before. :titanic:

I only fish for them with my dad.  We never go from a boat.  We fish in the west metro on the crow river.  Usually below the bridges with frogs.  We used to use cut bait or stink bait but the frogs work the best bu far and we will ocasionally get a walleye or pike.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.
