Today was a tougher day of walleye fishing on leech lake for me but managed to get our fish. Had A 6 hour trip today and for the first 4 hours we fished 6 spots and only had one keeper in the box. I was thinking it was going to be one of those bad days. But we kept moving and found some active fish. In the last two hours we caught a dozen walleyes finishing out our limit and one bigger fish for a photo. (25 1/2) Jigs and shiners worked in this spot and you really had to pop the jig to get a bite. The wind was coming in hard and we were picking up fish from 6ft to 9ft. We had some very nice sized box fish with several over 17 inches.
