         That is the link to the press release.  Interesting since Johnson owns Hummingbird.  I think this may have some effect on Lowrance users in the future  :doah:.  I guess It is a great deal for Hummingbird users.  We will have to see.   :scratch:

who knows but navionics has an i phone app for 10 bucks that rivals lakemaster. but for $10 its amazing. i dont know if theres one for android at all but i have used this and its just as good as lakemaster but WAY cheaper. only problem is most phones are handheld, not waterproof and not as nice as a 12" bow mount GPS. but for ice fishing theres nothing better!
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!

The app doesn't download all of the maps so you just need to download the maps before you leave.  Then the maps are on the device so you don't need connectivity on the lake.
