Took the boat, boat lift, and dock out of the water. Lake has gone down so much it was difficult to get the boat on and off the lift. Open water fishing is over for me. Waiting for ice now. My first attempt at the Fishing Challenge didn't work out for me. I couldn't catch a northern bigger than the one that one of my team mates had already posted. I couldn't catch a walleye over 18 inches. Biggest was 17 and 3/4 inches. I guess I can't complain about the walleye fishing though as I did have my share of nice eater size fish. I rarely fish for bass. Usually only when my bass fishing son comes to visit but he didn't make it up here this summer. But I did hook a couple while trolling for wally but none made the 14 inch minimum. Maybe the Ice Fishing Challenge will be more successful. Bring on the  :cold:

I'm not sure how lucky that would be. Your team in the fishing challenge seems to be taking a lot of jealous abuse from some of the other losing teams in the smack down.
