I used Rage 2 blade on my bow and saw they came out with a cross bow broad head and that is what I will be using.

I use 100 grain Thunder Heads.  I got quit a supply of these when I bought a used PSE bow and I haven't used them up yet.   They seem to work fine.

well i may switch back to mechanical this year, i love muzzy but with my new arrows(easton axis N fused carbon) they pull to the left by about 4 inches. i cant figure it out, i put on a old rage i have and it hits where its suppose to. my field tips hit where there suppose to as well.

maybe someone has some pointers on what is going wrong on with the muzzys and why they are pulling to the left and the other ones arent? i dont want to switch because i love my MX-4s but i cant risk that happening when i release on a deer.

I found this on another site
For fixed blade broadheads it's the slicktrixs or montecs. For retactables I like the NAP spitfires or the rage.

With that said a little tinkering with the bow should get them impacting the same spot.

The shot group is key. If you are shooting respectable groups but the impact is off from your aiming point, simply make adjustments to your sight. Or if you wish, continue.

If you are not grouping well, there are a few adjustments you can make to your bow. If you followed the paper tune, these adjustments will be very slight and have an insignificant effect on your field points. The following will only work if your arrows are properly spined or slightly overspined. If your arrow is underspined, broadheads become extremely difficult, if not impossible, to tune.

If the broadhead hits below the field point, move the string nock down.
If the broadhead hits above the field point, move the string nock up.
If the broadhead hits left of the field point, move your rest right, or soften the cushion button spring tension.
If the broad head hits right of the field point, move your rest left, or stiffen the cushion button spring tension.
The minor adjustments you make for broadhead tuning will have very little effect on field point flight.

I tried using Mechanical last year for the first time.  Went to Cabelas and looked at the Rage prices and ended up buying the:

Cabelas Lazer Strike-II's
Mechanical-3-blade
3-Pack for $16.99/sale price

Worked great on a 7-pointer last year, complete pass through and he dropped within 40-yards.

Can't complain so I'll be using them again this year.  Great feedback on these online too, great price.

I picked up the NAP Spitfire Edge 3 blade mechanicals for my first archery hunt this year. I was debating on the SWHACKER 2 blade mechanicals but a friend ended up getting those through the Hank Parker 3D website (buy (1) 3 pack and get (1) free) so I thought I'd let him try those and I'd go with the NAPs this year.

Another friend of mine has shot the Cabela's Lazer Strike IIs and said they are for the most part just as reliable as the NAPs for him. Good luck !
