Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

I live and hunt in Wisconsin and have been seeing alot of bucks chasing does....as early as a week ago. I think with this cold weather this week they will be rutting very soon.  Cant wait!!!

I would say about two weeks out. I saw two spikes starting to give a doe a hard time this past weekend and a couple more mature bucks started moving closer to shooting light. Next weekend could be a good one for the seeking phase though, especially if this cold weather holds up.

Good luck lentz.  I didn't see much rut activity last weekend.   On rub and one small scrape.  I plan to hunt tomorrow evening and Friday morning.   Hope to see some buck activity.

The boys are thinking about it, They are chasing and scraping and rubbing up more trees every day. I am glad I aint a deer that only has a couple weeks a year for socializing

Lots of new scrapes and some rubs showing up now. Things should be interesting in a week or so.
