Any one have a set on thier machines?

I remember a few years back having saw a couple of wheelers on the lake with them, never did get a chance to ask how they worked.

That would be a heck of an idea for the 3 wheeler. If we ever get snow

The ones I saw were factory made skis, just like a sled would have on it only as wide as a wheeler tire.

They had waer bars and a grab handle up front.

Looked like they steared fine on the bar ice, didn't see how they did in the powder though.

These were three wheelers by the way, not a 4x4 four wheeler.

I could just see someone with a 4X4 ATV that allows you too have it locked in the 2WD mode w/skies on.

Can you see his bud...I'm going to run over to get some beer at the resort with your wheeler.

Hits some deep snow, then he gets stuck

(Idea?) I'll stick it in four wheel drive.

Can you see the first time those skies go up and around through the fenders? LMAO!!!

Back in the 70's when I was a Kawasaki dealer we were able to buy aftermarket ski's for three wheelers.  Yes, it was wider than the average ski and it had a wear bar that was replaceable, and had a handle built into the front of the ski, also had a spring on it just like a snowmobile would have, it also had a stop bumper on it so the ski wouldn't hit the bottom of the engine or the front fender.  In deep snow it wasn't very good with original equipment tires.  We put paddle tires on the KLT200 and that did help but when you started to spin you were stuck very fast.  It was not a popular accessory.  I wasn't impressed at all.
