DULUTH - Fisherman's Corner, Scott, 7 miles north of Miller Mall on Hwy 53, www.fishycorner.com (218-729-5369)
Guys going out, 7 inches of ice on Fish Lake, 4 wheelers out … good northern action on Grand Lake, Boulder Lake for walleyes has been pretty good.  Few guys still doing some shore casting on the big lake by French river with blown up crawlers. looper bite is spotty. Just remember, no ice is safe

DULUTH - Marine General, 1501 London Road, on the edge of Lake Superior, www.marinegeneral.com (218-724-8833)
Trolling on Lake Superior has been good when the wind is down. Lakers and loopers are hitting. Shore casting has been flat.  On the St. Louis River, people standing on bays, catching eyes and crappies, 8-12 inches of ice on inland lakes,
Duluth ramps closed up, gotta go to two harbors knife river to launch…  be careful on shallow areas where weeds are, most all other lakes 6-8 inches of ice
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Thank for the report  thats pretty much what I heard for ice. I was working up by fish lake on Tuesday. It was raining and I saw one guy on fish sitting on a chair in the rain fishing by high banks I hope He got some fish. Its bad enough fishing in the rain in the summer let alone in December. grandpa Jack
