Let’s start with Ice Conditions around the Crosslake Area.  Most lakes have 6 to 8 inches of ice in bays but areas of the main bodies have less and even some open areas due to currents and wind, so if you’ll venturing out check the ice as you go.  The weather was super all weekend and anglers went out and found fish.   Most active were Northern Pike all most all lakes produced fish. Tip-ups and pike minnows were the hot ticket.  Walleye angles were having good luck on Round, No Long, and Whitefish.  Fishermen reported success with shiner minnows on tip-ups or bobber fished and jigging with spoons tipped with fathead minnows. The best time is before sunset in 16 to 24 feet of water.  Crappie and panfish action wasn’t as hot as usually this might be due to lack of snow cover and sunny conditions.

If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?
