Trying out the JawJacker at Officer's Gulch and the Snake River inlet to Dillon Reservoir (Colorado). It worked well, and I can't wait to load it up with a heavy rod and braided line and take it out for Lakers. I think it's a great way to fish your deadstick rod. I will report back when I have tried it for Lakers and Walleye. The heavier the rod you put in it the harder it hits 'em.

The guy who makes these told me they are not legal in MN so be aware of that! I thought I'd post this up anyway since you might fish other states too.

I believe they are. I think MN is the only major ice fishing state where they are not. I would research though to be sure.
