Sad deal isn't it?The hand writting was on the wall when gill netting started in 1999,remember it took red lake to shut down after 13 years of commercial fishing,we're in year #12 with mille lacs with lower daily non-tribal limits and strick slots,to bad the state is taking this path, hopefully enough folks will wake up and realize history is repeating itself, over 1million non-native,tax paying, fishing license buying, voters will stand up and force the end of gill netting and selective soverign rights to the few that live a double standard life style that only benefits them when convenient.
