Sounds like the pond finaly has a solid top! I've been out there 3 times this year with success 2 of the times and an ok day the 3rd. We were able to drive out last week on wigwam. We had 14inches of ice about 300 yards out. I wouldn't suggest it on many of the bays however. Even roland (traditionaly a good bay to drive on) was extreemly sketchy last week with open water at the end of the point. Anyone else been on the pond?

Last sunday we went out of appledorns and had to cross 2 bridges with the quads. Foot wide cracks.  had 13 inches of ice a mile out.  Had a fullsized extended cab chevy pulling a wheel house past us.  Guy had more money than brains.  Hole hopped our way to 38 jumbo perch.  Found the most perch in 22-23 FOW

We went out of appledorns on Monday. I was out 2 miles and we had 23 inches of ice. You could have drove a tank. We crossed one bridge with a 10 inch crack that was froze shut. Fishing was slow with the cold front. We ended with one walleye and 4 perch for the frying pan. Had buddies out of hunters the same day and they had the same ice and the same luck.
