Santana pitched a complete game tonight and still got a loss, I feel really bad for him after a great performance like that.

Here are his stats.

That's what happens when you play for a very bad team.  The good news is that Loshe got sent down to AAA and Boof Bosner is making his first major league start on Saturday.  It seems a little crazy that we have 3 rookies in our starting rotation now.  They can't do any worse than the guys they replaced though.

I'm hoping Carlos Silva replaces Radke in the rotation as soon as he gets back in the starting rotation.

Might as well let these younger guys get the experience now.

Santana
Silva
Liriano
Baker
Bonser

Would be a nice rotation for next season. There is no way we win this division with The White Sox and Tigers as good as they are, not including the Indians who will have a better record at the end of the season.

Radke will be in the rotation all year unless he gets hurt.  I have never been a Silva fan and could care less if he ever starts for us again.  They should have traded him while he had some value.  I would rather see them rush Glen Perkins to the major leagues and see what he can do.  We should also really trade Joe Nathan to a good team so he can pitch more than once a month.

Twins won tonight in the 10th.  Santana wasn't as sharp this time out.

That guy that pitched the 9th and 10th innings looked pretty good though.

Nathan?  He was well rested, they have not needed him in a while.  Glad he wasn't rusty!

They have only needed him 5 times this year.  I don't think there was any rust.  He looked as good as any pitcher in baseball tonight.  There was not a ball put in fair territory against him and the way he was throwing I am surprised they could even touch any of his pitches.  We have the best closer in the league and he is being wasted on a bad team.
