MILLE LACS – Chris Kuduk’s Guide Service (320-630-1761)
Spotty pearch bite in Wigwam bay.  During the day try out on the south side in around 19 feet of water fishing right off the bottom.  Towards the evening a few walleyes are moving in.  Ice was about 6 to 7 inches thick last weekend.  Contact Chris for the most up to date reports and to schedule a day of fishing.

MILLE LACS LAKE - Malmo Market, Lynwood Elliott, State Hwy 47 and 18 East, NE corner of Mille Lacs (320-684-2295)
Ice on the North East corner is improving with 9" in some areas, 5" to 7" in others. Accessing the lake thru a resort is recommended, many are not yet charging. 12'-14' on the sand and gravel. Jigs tipped with minnows have been producing walleyes. Agate,Hunters,Hawkbill points have also been doing well in 14'-18'. Some anglers have been doing well on the closer mud flats.  Perch and crappie action has been good in the bays too.

MILLE LACS LAKE – Johnsons Portside, Kelly or Steve, 1 mile north of Isle on Hwy 47 SE side of the lake.
Well we are looking at an awesome ice fishing season.  With 10" plus ice, anglers are bringing in walleye from 18' -28' gravel and rocks.  Perch 8'-14'.  After a great summer and a wild fall bite.  I’m guessing the winter bite will be one of the best in recent years..
Just a note the 2007 Perch Extravaganza will be held on February 24th, at Hunters Point,  sponsored by PORTSIDE BAIT AND LIQUOR. Check our website for updates, www.johnsonsportside.com   Happy Holidays
