I did fish a little this weekend.  Water temps on the Lake of No Fish were in the lower 60s.  Not a lot of action with the only mark-able fish still 50 feet deep.  It's been like that all summer.  No ciscoes popping on the surface and very few fish surfacing in the evening.
The fall bite will be starting soon so I took the time to transfer my fishing lines from one reel to another.  I always have one empty reel to start the process.  Just attach the end of your line to the spool and reel if off one reel onto the other.  By doing this I will have fresh non nicked and damaged line on the fish end.  The old line will be on the spool.  I figure I get double the life out of my fishing line.  It's hard enough to get that big fish hooked.  Equipment failures come show time really suck.   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
