Ice Report

On Thursday, the north wind pushed the main slab of ice back to the south shore.  It appears that the ice is holding in place.  Last reports have 9 to 10 inches of ice on the main lake.  However, because of the ice shifting, there are some areas of much thinner ice.

We are expecting north winds from 13 to 18 mph today, making visibility difficult with the 5 inches of snow we received yesterday. The winds are supposed to be calm tomorrow.   The lows for the week will be in single digits to below zero.  We should continue to make ice.  We will give you an updated report once we know more tomorrow.  Updates may be found on our website or facebook page.
