This coming up open season I am planning to fish more often on st.croix from Osceola down to William O brian. However I am not familar with the water depth around that region. From O Brian down under I have been before but not much north of that. Should it be safe for a 9'-14' boat or should a canoe be a better idea? I do know that some spot can get very very shallow. Just not sure how often it will be within osceola and Obrian. Above Taylors fall I know it is very very low on majority of spot. Not much boat can go far up from the launch at wild river park.

a buddie of mine is on the river a lot and he runs a 14 ft with a 10hp everywhere he goes on the river but he has had a few encounters with some logs and sand bars but he has also said some spots he has to step out and drag the boat over some shallow spots but sounds like the fishing is great out there if you find a few good spots
Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.
