MDHA banquets

so does anyone else go to these???? my wife and I went to one last nite. tri river bucks i beleive the name is up in paynseville mn. last year my wife won a nice 30-30 lever action.  i was working so couldnt attend last years.

well after donating about 180 buck between the 2 of us we mangaged to win a small cooler and 5 boxes of 12 gauge slugs. i dont slug hunt. she also got a few things on the silent auction.

better luck next time i guess. the chicken/pork loin roast dinner was good though!!!

I just went to the Wright County Chapter banquet.  They had lots of great prizes including over 20 guns.  I did not win a gun but did get a trail camera, hunter safety vest and a number of other items.  Remember, most of the money raised at these banquets stays with the local commuity.  My chapter "Sherburne County" has the banquet scheduled for Saturday March 23, 2013.

I have gone to the shurburn county swampbusters 2 years in a row. The kids have all won great prizes. Last year my twins were both drawn early enough to each pick a youth22 but each opted for the youth bows instead.  Their resoning was that we have plenty of guns at home but they didn't have a bow.  Smart kids because they shoot the bows all of the time. Neighbor kids also now come over asking to shoot the bows. All of their parents just laugh because the kids all brag about it to all of their friends.

I love the banquets and what they do with the money they make.

I JUST WISH I'D HAVE BETTER LUCK next year theres gonna be a lucky rabbit foot, about 10 4 leaf clovers and a horseshoe stuck somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well its again that time of year. the annual buck banquet being held in paynseville Friday nite. its there 30th anniversary....................hope for better luck then I've had!!!

well deadeye............should of had taken you up on offer. we again donated generously. only won door prizes a $50.00 front end aligment an $15 in trade a a pub in eden valley. while friends around us win a chain saw a husband wife each win a gun, another wins a leaf blower. I however did get a nice MDHA shirt at the silent auction.
