Folks this is one healthy fish!!! A fella can only dream of catchin a beauty this size...

Angler Kate Bahr of Great Falls holds a 16.2 pound walleye she pulled through the ice at Fort Peck Reservoir. The fish is one of perhaps a handful of 16-pound walleyes ever caught in Montana.

A dandy fish!

all though,  I don't agree with the leaving a tip up out unattended..thats basically a set line..not too much challenge to that
There's plenty of room for all gods creatures...right next to my mashed potatoes

What a monster walleye!  How big was the whole to get that fish thru?  :)

Bufflehead is right,  that fish would be illegal in MN, where it is against the law to leave lines unattended .  Regardless, nice FISH!  It would have really fun to catch a fish like that in open water on Rod & Reel  ;D
That's gonna leave a mark!
