FINALLY hit the ice

After 5 weeks of 57 to 65 hours of work I finally found some time to hit the ice.  Bought the suckers and met a friend at the designated access at 8 am. and set up on a weedline that usually produces some big pike.  Thick milfoil on a sharp breakline next to 30 feet of water.  The first 2 hours were spent jaw jacking and second guessing the lake choice.  Then we caught 6 fish and missed 3 more in 45 minutes.  Then spent the next 3 hours wondering where the fish went.  Nothing huge, 3-4 pound average and one 8 pounder.  Hopefully the pictures of the fish are good enough for the judges.
