Anglers and fish are spread out from depths of 27 - 34' of water.  Good reports.  Anglers working lures with electronics seeing more success.  South end producing good numbers of saugers along with walleyes. Best colors, gold, glow red, pink and orange.  Some anglers starting to fish mid lake reefs.  Jigging line in one hole with dead stick and live minnow 6" off bottom in other.

Anglers fishing the Rainy River around Baudette and Clementson reporting morning/evening bite.  Walleyes being caught near airport, Baudette Bay, Hattie's Hole and Clementson Bay.  19-21' most consistent.  Pike active in bays.

Up at the NW Angle, resorts shifting houses.  Some in deep mud, some on structure.  Nice bite continues, 23-28'.  Walleyes and saugers with jumbo perch mixed in.  Reports of big crappies for portable anglers working with resorts going into Ontario waters continues.  For more info on lodging, fish houses, and anything LOW, www.LakeoftheWoodsMN.com.
